What a great day it was... Everyone Got Their Taste On!
About 500 attendees were delighted with the tasty treats and beverages of more than 40 of Evanston's most exciting restaurants, breweries, and wine shops.
This years event was held Sunday September 15, at the
Charles Gates Dawes House, 225 Greenwood Street, Evanston, IL.
The beneficiaries included two organizations working tirelessly to prevent homelessness and increase affordable housing options: Connections for the Homeless, and Reba Place Development Corp.,
Funds also support ongoing philanthropic projects of the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club.

Marching in the Evanston Parade
It's always a great time marching in the 4th of July parade. The three Rotary Clubs of Evanston joined Rotary International incoming President Stephanie Urchick and her mission of promoting peace and representing the international reach of Rotary.
Walk for Housing Insecurity
On Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, Ann Weatherhead, Aimee Resnick, Kelly Fidei and members of the Northwestern Rotaract Club joined Interfaith Action’s 5th Annual Walk for Warmth to raise funds for overnight shelters and the hospitality center. It was too cold to take photos of the actual walk, but here they are at the pre-walk program before heading out. A real commitment to the work.

Fifty women and girls networked, learned, and gained inspiration
The evening celebrated Evanston Lighthouse Rotary Club's Empowering Girls project, strengthening the club's commitment to protect and empower girls and increasing equity by ensuring access to resources that improve their lives. Marking the culmination of Women's History Month, the project included a motivating social media campaign, a commemorative video, and the project's Empower Girls new website.
Club members helped package diapers for Bundled Blessings Diaper Pantry,
which are then given to families in need.
On that day we packaged over 15,000 diapers which is about half of what are given out each month.
